People and Places

Lots of  high school  graduations this year: Ally and Erica graduated from Souhegan, Eric and Kyle graduated from Hollis/ Brookline, and Jared graduated from Milford High. College plans for them are to attend Nashua Community College, University of New Haven, New England College, UMass Lowell, and a community college in California. College choice is so much a matter of money these days, with an initial school chosen for price, with a plan to finish at a more expensive school.  Or even to move to another state in order to qualify for in-state tuition in the future. It was so, so, much easier in my day.

Thomas qualifies for our scholarship program this year, and Andrew received his second scholarship from us.

In April we celebrated twenty years with Patrick and fifteen years with Jim. In October, Joe reaches his twenty-five year anniversary with us!

If you are at Kimball Farms in Westford, MA, Saturday night August 19, you may see us having a barbeque and ice cream in a tent in the party area or all around the park – at the miniature golf, bumper boats, bumper cars, driving range, arcade, or more. Why? Our Safety Award Party for two years without an accident, and a well-deserved break for us. But we need to close early – at four PM, because people need to get home, pick up their spouse and kids, and get to Westford before the barbeque. Thank you for your understanding.
