I have had more compliments from customers on our team members than at any time in the nineteen years that Jeanne and I have owned this store. It is not just for the older team members, who we all expect to be good, but even the youngest and newest team members are very smart and have great attitudes.

I also appreciate those of you who are willing to be helped by a young woman with your pool problems. Our young women have to work extra hard to compensate for the people who believe that only males can understand pools, parts, and chemistry. So they do.

Maria comes in at odd hours so that she can maintain the eight pools in our Pool Park (which have looked perfect all summer) regardless of her store work schedule. Katrina, Tod’s daughter, has worked for her dad’s pool service company since she was a young girl. She has better experience than the manager and assistant manager of our competition across town put together. If you have given them a chance, you know what I mean. In fact, Katrina was our Owner’s Choice Award winner in June for all of the compliments about her help.
